The Minister of Defence, Lt. General, Yaseen Ibrahim Yaseen, the Minister of Interior, General Anan Hamid and the Director General of the Defence Industries, General Merghany Idris have attended today the opening ceremony of Sudan pavilion at the International Defence Exhibition 2023 amid the presence of Abulrahman Sharfy, Ambassador of Sudan to UAE, Deputy Director of DIS, Major General Mutasim Abdullah Elhaj and a number of commanding officers of SAF and the police. Sudan is taking part with the distinguished pavilion of the DIS. The Minister of Defence has hailed the advance accomplished by the National Defence Industries. From his part, the Sudan Ambassador to UAE, Excellency Abulrahman Sharfy commended the great role played the DIS through its distinguished participation in this international event, affirming that such a participation is a testament of the pioneering role of the DIS in the field of Defence technologies. He has also extended sincere thanks to UAE for hosting this Exhibition and thanked the Sudanese Youth for their sustainable giving's and high spirits.
