KHALIFA/122mm-D30

It is towed for direct firing at the movable and
stationary targets by optical sight. With it’s panormatic
telescope and the range quadrant. It is not only used for
firing from the masked position , but also for direct firing.
During the night , the sighting devices are illuminated by
means of the instrument light and autonomous tritium
illumination.For firnig with 122 mm howitzer the semi-fixed rounds with the high-explosive shell, illumination shell and smoke shell with reduced , changeable and full propelling charge at the ranges up to 17 km are used.
