Elshaheed Ibrahim Shams eldeen Complex:
It has been established in
2002 to produce heavy machineries and armored vehicles. The
complex has many factories to produce tanks, armored personnel
carriers, self-propelled artilleries, bulldozers and excavators
for civil and military purposes.
The complex has an integrated industrial basis; such as building
framework and structures, assembly, upgrading, maintenance and
rehabilitation of tanks, armored vehicles and machineries. .
Factories encompassed in the complex
> Body Construction Factory, equipped with modern machines to cut
metal by laser and plasma, heat treatment and furnace for forming
turrets of the tanks.
> Maintenance and Modernization Factory for Rehabilitation of the
Tank (DIGNA).
> Assembly Workshop.

Yarmouk Industrial Complex:
The complex
was founded in 1994 and inaugurated in 1996. It is an integrated
manufacturing establishment for the production of conventional
weapons and ammunition. Due to the espousal of the
up-to-the-minute hi-tech, modern equipment, highly qualified and
competent personnel, the YIC is able to take up a prominent place,
that its excellent products are well competitive.
These factories stay on a robust infrastructure, including
metallurgy, tools and equipment factories. The YIC is based on a
package of advanced managerial and systems with regards to the
computerization, manpower, quality control and storage. It
produces currently 29 military products. As well it produces
variety of civil products, covering the spheres of railways,
electricity, cement and motor-agricultural-machineries-related
industries. It has embarked on other civil industries; such as
synthetics, rubber, and water pumps in collaboration with the
private sector. |
Alshagara Industrial Complex
Alshagara Industrial Complex is the
kernel of MIC, established on 17 November 1959; the complex started
production in the early 1960s. It continues its production to cover
the Armed Forces requirements of ammunitions. The AIC produces the
army requirements of the small cartridges such as 51, 39 mm and
hunting cartridges (12mm). After annexing the AIC to the MIC in
1994, it has been injected with additional group of competent staff
of engineers and technicians. The AIC started producing other more
products, such as mortar initiators (60 mm, 82 mm and 120 mm.).
Furthermore, the ammunition of small caliber as 54.9 mm and 12.7 mm
are produced. The complex also produces tools and spare parts. All
productions of the AIC are passed through the supervision and
approval of the Quality Control Department which is administratively
and technically qualified to assume this job.

< Light ammunitions of caliber 7.62mm.
> Cartridge of caliber 12 mm.
> Rounds of 60 mm, 82mm, and 120 mm.
> Ammunition of 9mm.

Safaat
Aviation Complex (SAC):
Inaugurated
in 2005 a, Safat Aviation Complex (SAC) is one of MIC strategic
projects, established in the framework of the MIC’s method to
provide the Armed Forces with the necessary warfare to enable them
perform their duties. So, Safat is planned to attain the following
goals:
1- Supporting and providing the air forces with the required
avionic technologies.
2- Importing technologies of maintenance and assembly of airplanes
in the Sudan, considering the important role of aviation in peace
and war time.

Alzargaa Engineering Complex:
Founded in 1999 and
inaugurated in 2004, Zargaa is an integrated industrial complex to
produce electronic devices, laser and optical equipments. Zargaa
is also a research and consultancy services provider. It assembles
and produces as well, the communication and wireless equipments as
HF&VHF. The ZEC produces and distributes electronic and
optoelectronic equipment for both military and civil purposes. It
has good and potential capabilities in designing and programming
electronic circuits. It plays an important role in providing
SUDATEL (SUDANI Mobile phone) with a variety of cellular phones,
as well as their maintenance and trainings of personnel, through
the networks of agents the nationwide. It provides a distinguished
service of maintenance thanks to the proficiency, competence and
technically high qualification of its personnel. It represents
several international agencies in the field of communications as
the international corporation ZTE. |
